Running a Calibration
To run or execute a calibration one should perform the following steps.
- Determine the calibration reference planes to be established.
- Specify each of the components that will be required for each calibration in a configuration file.
- Configure each calibration device (FCM, DCM, SCM, etc) to be used in the configuration file.
- Configure the switch path from the cal device(s) to the PNA port(s).
- Configure a calibration type for the reference plane to be established.
- Configure a PNA to be used during calibration.
- Including instrument state file (CSA or CST) if desired.
- Configure a sequence to execute each of the calibrations extending the error terms from one reference plane to the next.
- Initialize the system using the configuration file.
- Execute a calibration or execute the complete sequence.
